During this time, children typically played outside, and people communicated via landline telephones. In the early 90s, personal computers had an MS-DOS aesthetic, and internet infrastructure was decentralized. Although the US military created the internet in 1969, internetworking did not work until 1976. Arpanet researchers successfully resolved the networking issue of getting computers to communicate with each other. The World Wide Web (WWW), created by Tim Berners-Lee launched over a decade later. Let's observe cyclical patterns and journey through history along with my concurrent professional timeline.
